EXCEL PREMIUM TABLE WATER excels to Global Quality Standards. This is sequel to the recent award of Certificate of Excellence as Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) issued the Mandatory Conformity Assessment Programme (MANCAP) to Excel-Data Business Limited, the Producers of Excel Premium Table Water. This is consistency with Nigerian Industrial Standards (NIS).

Presenting the MANCAP Certificate also known as “the Nigeria Mark of Quality” to the Management of the company recently at the Conference Hall, Federal Secretariat, Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State Capital, the State Coordinator of SON, Mr. Dauda Mshelia said the Certificate was awarded to the company for having “shown exceptional commitment in the production of bottled table water according to minimum requirement and standards.  Mr. Mshelia stated that the Mark of Quality Certificate was valid for a period of three (3) years from the date of issuance.

The State Coordinator however warned  that the company having received the Certification, will be subjected to periodic surveillance to monitor compliance with the required standards for their products, and that SON reserved the right to withdraw the certificate or logo conditionally. He explained the three conditions under which the MANCAP Certificate awarded could be withdrawn to include; lack of conformance of the products to the minimum requirement of the standard, abuse of the rules in relation to the use of the MANCAP logo, and in an event that the company stop to operate in Nigeria. He concluded thus “we thank you for making sure that Nigerians consume high quality products from you. By the MANCAP Certificate your products have improved health and safety and can be consumed globally,” he said”. He then called on Akwa Ibom State Government, corporate bodies, the people of the state, and Nigerians to patronize the products of the company having achieved the Standard Organization of Nigeria Mark of Quality.

Responding, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Excel-Data Business Limited, Deaconess Emem Inyangudoh (JP), thanked SON for adopting unbiased assessment procedures to arrive at the Quality Certification.
